ConXion Omloop van Vlaanderen ready to take place in Belgian Rally Championship

ConXion Omloop van Vlaanderen ready to take place in Belgian Rally Championship

De Conxion Omloop van Vlaanderen is already set to take their place back in the Belgian Rallychampionship, on the 3th and 4th of septembre. After the cancellation this year, the organisation KAMV didn’t set back and wait, but continued to work. Hard!

It was a huge setback for the entire organisation to cancel edition 2020. The 61st edition had a huge entrylist with 35 R5-cars, the Tour European Rally, the BMW M-Cup and the international series: HRCR Series Master, the Mini Sport Cup and the Volvo Euro Cup. Not to forget: a full house in the RACB Criterium and a big interest in the first Rock ’n Roll Classics Regularity.

Obviously: the enthousiasm was bigger than ever. The sowing this new organisation led already to fullgrown fruits. And even though KAMV had to work in full COVID-19-pandemic, it shows the flexibility and maturity within this young team. The oldest rally of the Belgian Rally Championship is clearly alive and kicking.

The strong base KAMV built during 2020 helped to set the lines for 2021: a compact rally with 150 miles against the clock, divided over two days and twenty challenging special stages in flanders fields. On Wednesday, the first of september KAMW the rally heads off with a pre-event test and shakedown in Slypskapelle.

The ConXion Omloop van Vlaanderen has already done it’s homework and hopes to welcome everyone in septembre. KAMV wants to provide clarity to the RACB and the promotors of the BRC, but also tot he partners and teams. This organisation, a monument and and a beacon on the calender, is all set for 2021.
